Our Fine White has long been served as an aperitif at daytime (and evening) get-togethers in the Douro. But now overseas visitors to our Lodge are spreading the word when they get back home. The white port trend is here to stay. Several wines from high-altitude vineyards go into making our Fine White. Aged for up to 18 months before it’s ready to start winning over new followers.
The wine displays a delicate golden color with crisp, flowery aromas and hints of almond. Cockburn’s Porto Branco is best served chilled either neat or over ice. Great for mixing, it’s perfect as part of a crisp, cool Port & Tonic. Cockburn’s Porto Branco pairs with cured meats or nibbles such as salted almonds, olives or crisps.
