Finca Las Moras is a pioneer winery in the region that is dedicated to the elaboration of high-quality wines in San Juan since the restructuring of the vineyards in 1993 by Richard Smart. San Juan is the second-largest wine-producing region in Argentina. Its prolific climate allows growing vines without artificial fertilizers. The name of the company refers to a mulberry tree (Spanish: morera) growing in the three principal regions of San Juan. Its juicy fruits are Finca Las Moras’ symbol, they emphasize the vivid fruity taste of the wines. Finca Las Moras belongs to the Grupo Peñaflor which owns many leading wineries in Argentina.
