Description
Color: Deep purple color, dark red velvet with magenta density.
Aroma: Ample, its bouquet expresses itself on fruity accents (blueberry, currant, kirsch) or floral (violet), evolving toward undergrowth, animal, leather, fur, pepper, licorice.
Taste: On the palate, it recalls the candied fruit present in the nose. It is powerful and full-bodied, structured, firm, frank and rich.
Food Pairings: Ideal with intense washed-rind cheeses or blue cheeses, but also with strong meats such as beef, roasted or grilled, and all game, both feathered and furred, roasted, braised and of course in sauce.
