Aroma: Extremely intense fruit, with notes of graphite, blackcurrant, and red fruit such as cherry, combined with soft spicy hints of black pepper and cardamom, interlaced with smooth notes of vanilla imparted by barrel ageing.
Taste: Starts out very good, fresh and fruity with refreshing acidity. Very soft, silky and melt-in-the- mouth tannins emerge mid-palate. Red fruit aromas return on the aftertaste, accompanied by a long, persistent finish.
