Aroma: Very intense and fruit-laden, with a combination of red and black fruit notes of blackcurrant, blueberry and prune that mingle with spicy aromas of nutmeg, clove, and black and green pepper, underpinned by perfectly integrated, subtle aromas of toffee, cedar and coffee imparted by oak ageing.
Taste: A full-bodied wine, seductive on entry, with an unctuous, rich mid-palate. Finely structured, elegant, with a smooth, silky texture. The aftertaste offers echoes of blueberry and prune fruit aromas, and good acidity makes for a very long, persistent finish.
