The Beringer reserve vineyards offer Cabernet Sauvignon of such quality that a minimalist approach to winemaking has long defined this special blend. Each lot was aged for almost two years before the selection of the final blend, to allow each vineyard to express the depth of its unique terroir. A wine built for the ages, with much yet to be revealed.
Berry aromas, in between black and red fruit, a muddled, stewed nose with vanilla highlights. Firm and full on the palate dominated by mountain blackberries, plum, and cassis, accented by black truffles. The fruit is opulent with soft, silky tannins and excellent structure.
