Undurraga is a Chilean wine producer located in the Maipo Valley with estate vineyards located in multiple subregions. It therefore, produces a wide range of wines from many grape varieties. The company was established by Francisco Undurraga Vicuña in 1885, but the first vines were planted in 1879 from cuttings imported from Germany and France. In 1903, Undurraga was the first Chilean winery to export to the United States and by the 1940s it was already producing 30,000 bottles a year. By the 1960s, this had risen to nearly half a million.
