The story begins 4 centuries ago, when the Dubœuf Family started making wine in the land of Mâconnais region in France. Since then, the family, led by Georges Dubœuf, has been making wines from the infamous grapes of the land of Burgundy in the more specific sub- region of Beaujolais. Georges created a group of producers, “L’Ecrin Mâconnais-Beaujolais”, that represented 40+ winemakers from all appellations of the region. This was the start of a great adventure that has given a new face to the trade business and brought the business closer to the winemakers themselves.
