This 21 year old whisky hand-selected by award winning Master Distiller, Dr Bill Lumsden, especially for this exclusive offering. It is one of Glenmorangie's most individualistic and rare creations - only 237 bottles, finished in a Chateau Roubine Red Wine Cask. Full of winter berries and a touch of port. A good oak and a little cereal hanging in the substratum. It is sweet and thick on the palate. The port note is chewy and rich with notes of barley sugar and cereal and lots of juicy fruit and berries, a tad cloying. Finish: Long and fruity and quite sweet.
