This legendary sweet and sour drink cemented its place in pop culture history when it was regularly featured on the hit show "Sex and the City" and was incredibly popular during the 1990s and early 2000s. 

This classic cocktail combines vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, and freshly squeezed lime juice. The vodka provides a smooth, neutral base, while the triple sec offers a sweet, citrusy contrast.

The cranberry juice adds a rich, ruby hue and a refreshing tartness, while the lime juice provides a zesty kick.

Ingredients

  • 120ml Citrus Vodka
  • 60ml Cointreau or orange liqueur
  • 60ml Cranberry juice
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • Ice
  • Lime wedge, for garnish
  • Cranberries, for garnish

Steps

  1. Add vodka, Cointreau, cranberry juice, and lime juice to a cocktail shaker and fill with ice.
  2. Shake until well chilled.
  3. Strain drink into a martini glasses and garnish with a lime wedge and cranberries.
